Clemson athletic director Terry Don Phillips said Friday that the NCAA had been on the Tigers’ campus this week to talk with two members of the football team. Phillips issued a statement Friday about the visit, but did not say what the inquiry was about. Phillips also did not identify the athletes, but said Clemson is cooperating fully.

Clemson seniors DeAndre McDaniel, Jarvis Jenkins and Chris Hairston have all been named first-team preseason All-ACC by the media covering last weekend’s ACC Football Kickoff in Greensboro, NC. The team was announced on Wednesday.
